8-20-10: this is me in my doorway pose for my husband. He wasn't there. I just wanted to show him what he was missing. And then I made Sister Shannon pose too. (at the bottom) I have a thing for doorways. I love them. I love the sizes (especially big ones,) and the different materials used, and all the designs. And the fact that they always have a purpose. Crazy thinking I know. Anyway, this post is not about doorways. It's about Tango.
Tango is the Children & Families of Iowa's biggest and most elaborate fundraiser. It's spearheaded by some of the wealthiest women in the area. There's food, drinks, music and best of all - fundraising! The goal is raise as much money as they can through donations, tickets sales, a silent
auction, a live auction, and new this year - Gaming Tables!!!
And it's tomorrow!!!!
So, Shannon has to work the Shelter Table, and I will be helping her. The plan is to wear a beautiful strapless royal purple dress and fun hair done by my friend Jean. Shannon is wearing an amazing black dress that does wonderful curvy things! I promise, pictures to come! And yes, most of them will be of the food. ;)
