I suck

It's April and I haven't finished my February blogs. Man... I am working on the Greatest Loves blogs still. Scott's up right now, and it's taking a bit to get in to. Which makes it seem like you have a lot to wait for. you don't. ;)

the actual book

Right now I am reading the Game of Thrones series of books. My sister's boyfriend Gabriel started me on these. And the miniseries on HBO is all the rage right now. I am almost done with book 2, and it's pretty great. Starting it was a little hard - the writing was too simple, too predictable. But once you got into it, the story just sucks you in. And I spent an entire weekend watching Season 1 of Game of Thrones on HBO, and it follows the first book so well. The casting is pretty good too. I was impressed... then again, HBO gave me Sex & the City, and that surpassed the good book it was based on, so I shouldn't be surprised. I've passed Book 1 of Thrones onto my Dad, and then it will probably come back to Scott.

Cast of Characters - Season 1

Weston starts Wee Ball (like Tee Ball) at the end of the month, and we are gearing up for Shannon's Graduation with her Master's from the University of Iowa in May. Other than that, it's zig-zagging across Iowa, and trying to clean out the one space we have in our house to make more room.

I promise to try and write more asap. Finish up that Ode to my husband ASAP.
